A quick rundown of where we stand with availability of Rhino box sets.
We’ve been alerted by several people — and we have confirmed — that Rhino.com is only still offering Volumes 3, 12 and “The Essentials.” (Volume 7 is also listed on their site, but it can’t be ordered, so we’re counting […] Alert reader Clint pointed us to this story about a pretty severe layoff at Rhino. It’s unclear what this means for continued distribution of Rhino’s MST3K box sets, but seemed like enough of a peg to hang this question on: What’s your favorite extra on a Rhino MST3K DVD?

The gang at Sci-Fi-London are holding another all night MST3K marathon this year, and this time they’re including a RiffTrax film. See the RiffTraxed (is that a word?) version of “Battlefield Earth” along with MST3K stalwarts “Merlin’s Mystical Shop of Wonders,” “The Creeping […] In the topsy-turvy, on-and-off-again world of the “Giant Gila Monster” single disc sales, it appears that it’s back on. If you haven’t bought your copy yet, you should probably order now before Rhino pulls the plug again. Thanks to John for the head’s up. |
