MST3K in Top 50 lists

Thirty years ago, a TV revolution began when HBO went up on satellite. To commemorate this event, CableWorld magazine has selected what its editors feels are the top 50 satellite-delivered shows, televised events and moments of the past 30 years. And guess who landed in the number 49 spot?

A small “Yes, we know…”

In the “Yes, we know” department: We have received a number of emails from folks who saw the movie The 40-Year-Old Virgin. It seems that the title character has many movie posters on the walls of his home, one of which is a poster for MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: THE MOVIE. Whether that’s writer/director Judd Apatow’s little joke–he worked on Freaks and Geeks with Josh, Trace and Joel–we’re not sure…
