  1. Erik @ RiffTrax says:

BTW, the podcast is pretty NSFW. Lots of bad language! (Not from the RiffTrax guys, but from the other guests who can get pretty dirty.)

Whoa – semen-shy individuals should shy away.

Wow, they swear! They are so cool! I shut it off after 10 minutes. Didn’t hear any of the Rifftrax guys. :-(

Clearly not sponsored by Pannekoeken. Skip about a little over an hour in and you’ll get the Rifftrax guys which contains fair less cursing — except in reference to Pannekoeken of course.

Considering how it contains two jerks from AOTS, I’m gonna skip this. I hate those two clowns.

Then again, Laura, you hate everything. The nerdist podcast is great, very funny. The only clown around is Laura “I’m going to quit everything because they cant come to me”.

  12. Sheesh! Never realized how many prudes were fans of MST. “ZOMG! They had a man on who talked about the mary jane, and then they mentioned sex!” Chill out, people. The Rifftrax guys are adults, last I checked. Nothing wrong with dropping the F-bomb once in a while. My only complaint is that Mike, Kevin, and Bill weren’t guests for longer.

But you know, these hosts are not very good at conducting a decent interview. They constantly divert the stream off into self-conscious tangents that take us away from the guests. Not too clever.

It was 60 minutes into the podcast before they got to MST3K (not their fault, but just warning the readership), and then of course there wasn’t much we didn’t already know — but most painful to me was, the hosts kept sidetracking the thing, and you’d be patiently (or not) waiting for them to get back to their question about something you already knew the answer to.

I always enjoy hearing from the Brains, but to me this was a dud interview because of the hosts.
