@ ptomreeves: That’s Shia “We the American filmgoing public will pay you go away” LeBeouf and Frances McDormand, one of the “respected actors shaming themselves for vacation house money,” along with John Malkovich and John Turturro. (If he has any shame left after doing three of these turds…)

    And Alan Tudyk. So sad.

I may have to watch these. Eventually. I’m on a rifftrax kick. But first up is Buffalo Rider…keep the VOD coming, boys…

I rented this movie and watched it once. I have no desire to do so again. Sorry guys.

John Malkovich and John Turturro? I thought they had souls! If Mike, Kevin and Bill could make Hobgoblins a fun experience, this should be a piece of cake, I hope.

Clearly you’ve never seen Transformers 2. Spoiler alert: Turturro actually keeps his pants on for the entirety of Transformers 3.

#5 Too bad, I bet it would be worth it.

Of course, for me a rifftrax makes it a completely different movie. None of my friends seem to agree but there is never a movie too bad for a rifftrax to save it as far as I am concerned. Riffed and UnRiffed, two completely different movie animals. I hope most people agree.

#8 To a certain extent I agree. I haven’t found a movie that Rifftrax has done that was too bad to sit through when riffed. But I wouldn’t necessarily always call them different animals, as I can still enjoy a movie I like that is being riffed.

Uh-oh. I predict many degrees of Deep Hurting. These ones are never easy.

#8 I don’t know about that. They didn’t make Transformers 2 any fun and RiffTrax of the first movie was okay but nothing special.

#12 Well, that’s your opinion. For you, the ineptitude of the filmmaker makes the movie unwathcable even with the riffing. It happens to me with Alien from LA.

I’m not gonna get into rifftrax vs. movies-in-general, but to be honest, all three of the Transformers movies have put me to sleep on their own. I think it’s my body’s natural defense response against Shia Lebouf. The jokes with the rifftrax are the only way I’ve seen the first two all the way to the end. Part three….man, I pity those poor guys, that must have been rough. When you throw that much money at a movie and still get shown up by a cheesy 80’s cartoon movie, wow, I would’ve just stopped at one and said “Ok, bad idea, sorry everybody!!”.

Birdemic is a better movie than either of the Transformer sequels. Michael Bay must be destroyed.
