The reviews are spot-on. War of the Insects is one of their best. That said, having seen Rattlers live, I think we’re in for an even bigger treat on the next CT release.

I’m the “impalergeneral”, BTW. I reviewed the other CT releases on this blog, and want to thank Satellite News for featuring my two cents on this movie. Also can’t wait for “Rattlers’

This is a good one, I would put it up there with Wasp Woman and Alien Factor as among the best.

I saw them do War of the Insects live, but I have never seen Rattlers. If only they could have Rattlers available on the 30th in Philly. If only.

It’s in the mail along with “Oozing Skull,” “Wasp Woman,” “Doomsday Machine” and “Blood of the Vampires” (from CT’s ongoing $9.99 sale for every other disc besides “War of the Insects”). It would be a hell of a Christmas with all these plus other unwatched “MST3K” goodies, but I’m Atheist and don’t celebrate Christmas. Oh well, Merry Sunday to me! :snicker:

  14. Steve Vil says:

Did anyone else who watched this realize that the woman who dubbed the voice of the “pregnant girlfriend” was the same woman who dubbed the voice of Nastenka in Jack Frost? That tickled me for some reason.

You can be an atheist and still celebrate Christmas. Just make it a celebration of your family.

I’m only about halfway through the episode now and it’s really funny so far! Favorite riff: “Isn’t he a dentist?”

cool stuff. There aren’t enough Japanese “not quite a spy movie” movies in the MST/RT/CT library.
