Video: Every Episode and More

Well, this is lots of fun, especially since fully 40% of the riffs are my fave riffs from the episode guide. :-)

Wow, excellent. I was thinking days ago of doing the same, some kind of tribute like this, from The Green Slime to Diabolik! But I lack the mad computer science III skillz.

Neat! It reminds me of this Doctor Who video that I saw a couple of months ago that basically did the same thing.

Kinda makes you appreciate just how lucky we are to have this much MST to watch. Blackadder only has 24 eps and a couple of specials.

This makes me want a proper documentary on the history of MST3K, from the origins of the people behind it, through the ups and downs, and life beyond MST3K. And not fluff pieces, but the honest truth about the working relationships, the good times and bad, and what they think about their continued fandom. A book would be nice too.

Wow, that was awesome. Also awesome, I found out that Bill Corbett is from the same neighborhood in Brooklyn as me. I don’t know how I never heard that before.

Great video, the time spent making it must be staggering. I thought it coulda ended after the shorts though… all the extras seemed like a little much, but they went the extra mile, so I’ll allow it.

    Bravo.

Too bad that repetitive background music renders the video unwatchable. Who could listen to that riff over and over again for 14 minutes!? I can’t stand if a DVD menu repeats more than once…

Great idea, but often the speech is blurred or drowned out by that annoying music.

Awesome video! Off the top of my head, though, there were at least three items that were left out.

First, there was the MTV News appearance where Mike, Tom, and Crow riffed an MTV News brief about Radiohead, and then Tom and Crow appeared in the studio with Kurt Loder and talked about the MST3K book and movie.

Second, there was the appearance of Mike and the bots on Cheap Seats.

Third, since they were covering all the video supplements, there was the video about the last episode, MST3K: The Last Dance – Raw.

(There was also Joel’s 1989 MST3K Live event featured on the MST3K Scrapbook as well the two MST3K ConventioCons, but that may be splitting hairs.)

Even so, I really enjoyed that.

Fantastic! I just came out of the hospital and had been referring to this one evil nurse (among many, many truly awesome nurses) as “Nurseferatu.” Glad it made the cut here!

It’s a great premise for a video, but I agree with the comments about the music. I found it hard to focus on the riffs and gave up about a minute in. Could I request a remix that brings the music down a few notches? I really want to enjoy the, by all appearances, otherwise awesome video underneath!

    Wonderful but …

I could only tolerate a couple minutes because of that annoying background “music”. And the “music” made the riffs hard to hear. I don’t understand why you thought that extra noise would enhance your video.

How about posting a video with only the riffs? That’s what it’s all about. Now that would be appreciated!
