I would love to know if the ratings popped for Nat Geo when this was on. Wonder if we may see more of these in the near future??

I watched all 3 episodes and found “Killer Shrimp N’ Friends” to be by far the funniest, followed by the “Demon Bat”. The first segment in “Guy and a Goose” was great, but for me the “reality TV” material that followed was hard to watch even with the jokes.

Total Riff-off will be aired again on National Geographic on April 8.

Announcer: IT IS A TALE OF MYSTERY! OF SCIENCE! AND OF THEATER!

(Yeash, guys! Leave it to the experts…)

Announcer: GEE, I HOPE THEY DON’T PICK ON ME.

(Yes, well, that one’s your fault…)

Oh, I’m really looking forward to seeing these guys. So glad they’re offering the video on Rifftrax – wasn’t really looking forward to jump through hoops to get NatGeo broadcasts. Started on Demon Bat – loving it so far.

I’m glad it’s being rebroadcast. I had to stop in the middle of the second episode due to a sudden sinus headache (damn allergies!). I’ll record it then since $15 for all three episodes is a lot of money to spend when you don’t have a regular income.

The Demon Bat ep was a home run. One of the funniest Rifftrax releases ever.

Certainly more…um, animal anus than I ever intended to see. Maybe it should have had a Diarrhea Disclaimer beforehand. Eeeyuck! I watched the first one but may skip the other two if they’re going to be that disgusting. Who in their right mind would ever sit down and watch this stuff (unriffed I mean of course)?

Don’t worry, Anthony, the second one just has a bit of blood while the worst thing in the 3rd one is some cadaver parts.

Finished Demon Bat. Definitely, one of Rifftrax’s best. Richard looks like a dang fool.

The Demon Bat thing was just incredible. Not in a good way, but as in

“I’m investigating reports of a large grey creature that swims around under water and bites people. But … how is it possible such a creature could exist? If it lives underwater, how does it breathe? And if it swims around all the time, wouldn’t it get tired? Join me as I investigate these baffling questions tonight on …”

Seriously? National Geographic runs a show featuring “mysteries” that anybody could “solve” with a 30-second google search?

Oh, and kudos to the director or whoever decided that if you’re going to film on location among Mayan ruins in the rain forest, you want to allot AT LEAST 50% of your screen time to closeups of the narrator’s sweaty face.

I finally got a chance to fully watch “Demon Bat.” To say that guy was a pretentious jerk is putting it mildly. If he was an “explorer”, then I’m a natural blond! Who thought it was a good idea to give that idiot his own show? Watching him was almost like watching the guys from “Top Gear” (the British version) try to be “explorers”. And why did he have to over-dramatize hiding the camera? You’d have thought the locals would’ve killed him if they saw a camera. Wow.
