Pre-order Volume XXXI

vol_xxxi

The MST3K: The Turkey Day Collection (XXXI) [Limited Edition Collectible Tin] is scheduled to be released to the general public on November 25.

If you’d like to order it from Amazon for the current price of $45.49 (& free shipping), we’d appreciate it if you used this link.

If you’d rather order it from Shout! Factory at the current price of $64.99, please use this link. While the Shout! price is currently almost $20 more than Amazon’s, you also get a few extras: a free MST3K Vol. XXXI slipcase, free exclusive MST3K coasters and free standard U.S. shipping three weeks early.

As always, these prices will probably fluctuate wildly over the next few months. If you see a different price posted, please let us know!

ahh, I threw in a vol. 25 slipcase, and got charged $6 shipping, that’s why $71. Oh well, how else am I supposed to get that slipcase?

I will probably order it from Shout!
I am STILL waiting for my Volume XXX from Amazon.
I ordered it last month with no indication of a problem, and ave received three
    shipping updates so far.
I have a feeling I will get Volume XXXI before I get Volume XXX.

Anyone have any idea why the problem? Amazon is usually so good.

Ordered, thanks for the link. Richard, I also ordered 30 through amazon and am still waiting but it took them nearly 2 weeks to pack and hopefully it’ll arrive in the UK by the end of the month. I can’t afford to order it from Shout but hats off to them for really making an effort with their releases.

Richard. I got this on the 5th August:
‘We’re sorry for the delay in shipping the order you placed on April 23, 2014. We have good news — the order is now being shipped! You will receive a shipping confirmation with an updated delivery estimate within the next business day’.
Finally despatched on the 7th. I put a comment about the wait on the MST3K FB page and got trolled, perhaps some of the people on there work for amazon !

I ordered VOL XXXI via shout just so I would not have the hassle of having to buy the slip case separately. Plus I get the coasters, so that’s good. Any word on the bonus tracks???

And me, I’d rather not have he slip case or the tin. I like the slim cases on my shelf in production order making both useless.

I need pictures of these coasters before a decision can be made. They’ll have to be super cool: the Shout store’s pre-order prices don’t usually change, as I recall.

I’ve stopped ordering these through Amazon. They take so long and I can usually get them for far less through Barnes and Noble. But the extra stuff and earlier release through Shout is very tempting.

Me,I plan to order from SHOUT, I love all the cool things they do and feel the price = the cool.
And hey #9 GOSHZILLA — who knows down the road with any of the future boxed sets SHOUT may toss in a hand full
of the coasters as a added pack in. I bet they order a ton of these and will have extra on hand.
Now these are “DRINK COASTERS” not “THE COASTERS” the group that was in one of the movies. I don’t remember what movie
it was but I think CROW/TOM said ” The Coasters, the only true talent in this film.”

Order from Shout and get a free slipcase? Does that mean they’re not going to be included with standard sets anymore? I love what Shout has done with MST3K, but that seems kind of sketchy to me. All of a sudden start charging extra for something that was always included.

dang, I’m being left behind. I think that makes 3 I need.

I’m about to start Season 1 and I know there’s a few in there somewhere I don’t have.

Legend of the Dinosaurs was really good, btw. Only the second time I’d seen it and the first time wasn’t a good watch for whatever reason. I wish they’d done it again. And.. I hope they’ll give us a KTMA Best of or something sometime with upgrades of this stuff we all have now.

Dr batch, when the box sets come in tins, being a different size and all, for some it doesn’t fit as snuggly as the cardboard slipcases do in their entertainment centers. They offer the cardboard slipcase that holds all four dvds as an extra for the tin sets now if that is an issue. Or in case you just don’t like tin.

And i also would like to see these coasters before I drop $20 extra for them. I have amazon prime so the shipping has never been a big issue for me. The slipcases are better for me but not $20 bucks extra better, so the coasters are the only things intriguing me….

Yeah, as much as I enjoy getting it early and not having to wait for Amazon, a few coasters and a slip case just isn’t worth the $20+ extra dollars…

Ditto about Barnes and Noble. I was surprised how not relatively inexpensive
it was, and delivered within a few days of the release date. Only minus was
they didn’t have any publishing of order info until just before the release
    date.

Sorry Shout! I’m patient and coasters (that I would never dare use) aren’t worth another $25. Besides the kids need new shoes, new clothes, new laptop, food….. BTW my XXX box showed up yesterday!

Hmm, I’m reluctant to use Amazon.com again after they shipped my DVD set in a freakin’ bubble envelope. I ended up paying even less than the initial pre-order price though. I think I’ll just wait and buy the set on the day of release. It takes Amazon forever to ship the damned thing anyway.

I can’t see on Barnes & Noble how much postage I’d pay but thanks for the tip. Vol 30 has cost me £28 (plus customs charges if it doesn’t slip past the border unnoticed, if they stop it I’ll be expected to pay around £10 on top taxes)which is pretty good for a 4DVD set. New DVDs come in around £10 here, about $17.

Does Shout ship to the UK?

  26. G R Robertson says:

Magicvoice: I’ll have to check. I think amazon come in cheaper though. I think the easiest way would be to get a job with an airline! Or find some one locally that flies to the States regualarly. Or if I can get MST3K really popular here and they release then in the UK (but of course the dreaded ‘rights holders’ might not go for that. Aaargh. No easy way !
