NatGeo should just pay them to riff the entire “Man vs. Monster” series.

I love that the guys recognize they had gold with this guy. The Demon Bat episode was far and away the best episode last time. Really looking forward to this.

From what the RiffTrax guys have said, Richard Terry is well aware of how silly he comes off, and enjoyed the riffing. I respect anybody who can laugh at themself.

His show’s still ridiculous, though. Looking forward to this. Is the other Riff Off episode more brief clips? Those were fun too.

“His expert? A guy who’s seen a snake.” Gold.

  5. Cool that they’re doing another “Man Vs. Monster” episode.

Some of the best riffs came from the “Demon Bat” special.

“I wanted to learn more about vampires….”
    “So, I read a book called Twilight…”

So glad they made the ‘beer cans’ joke because I was thinking it during the bat cave episode last time.

Another example of them reading my mind.

The guys REALLY ratcheted up the quality of their ‘riffing’ the first time out……….hope they are able to do the same this go-round !!!!! :-))

I’m not sure it’s on tonight. According to the website and the channel itself, they’ve got other shows scheduled.

I just realized that it’s not on NatGeo but NatGeoWILD which a lot of people don’t have, because it’s a premium channel. Luckily I have it, but I was confused at first when i couldn’t find the listing for it on NatGeo

Don’t know why it’s not on the regular NatGeo anymore but i’m excited to watch regardless! :-D

Aw, rats!! I can’t get NatGeo Wild. Please Rifftrax folks, if possible, next time please move it back to Nat Geo.

  12. I’m sure it’ll air on the regular channel. Yeah I was confused, I did a search on my Dish Network and couldn’t find it.

… yeah, it really was. WOW. Lotsa “hung-like-a-horsickles” in there.

Despite the giant deer, dolphin, and turtle wangs, these were hysterical! Man vs Monster is destined to become a staple Rifftrax punching bag… and I say bring it on! I laughed my butt off.

I really enjoyed the World’s Weirdest episode too, even with the constant humping spiced with the occasional cannibalism. I didn’t think you could show a good three fourths of that on TV, but it appears I was wrong… horribly, horribly wrong… :pain:

Caught some of this last night.

Yeah, that was some pretty yucky stuff. Riffing was pretty good for RiffTrax, though.

Them vs Monster Fish Guy show makes me pine for them doing Ancient Aliens.

Really good return of Total Riff Off. While a lot of people liked the return of “Man V. Monster’, the other show on animals behaving badly might convince people that deer and dolphins are more aroused than Kanye West. They consider riffing another show like maybe “Dog Whisperer”.

I surely Enjoyed the riffing. But wow seeing a turtle and dolphins package and gallons of elephant afterbirth may have scarred me. Or maybe it was the rat mom biting holes into her newborn or the elephant mom stomping on her afterbirth saturated newborn,

I definately enjoyed the second program more than the first, the smoking primate and clepto panda were great. And remember, bucks in heat prefer teenage blondes ;)

The elephant mom segment was harrowing! And I don’t know how to feel about that little turtle with the dog toy squeaks of passion.

I love Richard Terry. I feel as though he might be an actor as well as a nature explorer…no one could be that amazed by information one can learn by simply ASKING PEOPLE! Anyway, the guys really shined, and I hope they picked up some new fans.

Honestly we turned off the Animals Behaving Badly after the monkeys assaulted the poor raccoon and flung him into the air smacking against a wall. I really wish that if they would continue these Nat Geo things that they would choose less violent clips. Note that yes, I DO realize this is NATURE.

    Still love Rifftrax though :)

Arrgghhh!!! I went down to set my DVR too late, halfway through the second airing of the first episode, and I don’t see it being listed again. I would assume these would be replayed as these cable channels re-run everything, but has anyone heard anything about it being re-aired?

The second and third hours were a lot better than the one with the bat guy.

I have now seen dolphin boner. I’ll never be the same.

  23. Based on the comments, I’m wondering if the reason this didn’t air on the regular Nat Geo channel was because of questionable content.

The riffing was great for the “World’s Weirdest” show, but the footage made me hide my eyes several times. Seeing the coyote dragged off was heartbreaking; did they actually say if it was rabid or not?

On the other hand, Rifftrax and “Man V. Monster” is a perfect fit. Very funny!

I have to agree, what in Sam Hill were they thinking when the agreed to Riff the ‘Animals behaving badly’ show?

Man vs. Previously Discovered Animals was a much better fit.

I officially admire the heck out of Richard Terry. Anyone who can take that kind of roasting and say, “Hey, guys, do another one!” is definitely a good sport. And to be honest, I like the episodes as well. Sure, it’s obvious to everyone that he’s going to be leading you to a common, well-known animal, but I think that’s part of the point. Unlike a lot of crypto-zoologists, he’s showing people that the animals behind most legends are real and generally harmless to humans, and he’s doing it by working through the possible culprits one at a time until a big scary legend is reduced to a tiny bat or bottom-dwelling ray.

The Richard Terry one was definitely the better of the two, although I loved the line about raccoons making better Guardians of the Galaxy than pets. :)

I agree with Kenneth, I had to cover my eyes several times to avoid seeing things I would never, ever be able to unsee. Most notably the cheetah actually taking a dump, and the disturbing close up of the rat eating it’s baby. I know these things happen, I don’t necessarily need to see a close up of it. Still great to have the gang back on tv though!
