RIP Stan Chambers

stan_chambersHolmby Hills, Calif.–Stan Chambers, the beloved television news reporter whose more than six-decade career at KTLA-TV Channel 5 spanned nearly the entire history of the pioneer Los Angeles TV station and made him one of Southern California’s most enduringly recognizable faces, died at his home here February 13. He was 91.
MSTies will recall his performance as the TV announcer in the movie in episode 319- WAR OF THE COLOSSAL BEAST.

The L.A. Times has a nice long obit.

Thanks, as always to Paul and Duane for the heads up.
