Awesome! Been wanting to see this. Now can we please please please get The Room as a VOD? It looks insane and I need to see it! The Rifftrax version that is.

This was my favorite live show last year, excited to watch it again!

Darkknight: The Room won’t be available as a VOD unless Tommy Wiseau officially licenses the film to Rifftrax for those purposes. I’m not holding my breath, so I suggest you just sync the DVD up with the MP3.

Ah. Thanks for the info. I didn’t realize there was a licensing issue. He should grant the rights though, I mean wouldn’t he stand to benefit financially? I also just saw the announcement that one of the live shows is going to be the room this year but I did notice that of the various kick starter gifts a download of the room was not one of them.

Glad this was released. I missed the live show because the whole family got sick. Was afraid this would be like godzilla and starship troopers and wouldn’t see the light of day. Luckily the rights must be way cheaper for scifi originals. :)

How the heck DID Rifftrax get the rights to sell this live show?
I was surprised SyFy even let them do the show in the first place, let alone sell it.
Good work to everyone on the Rifftrax crew.
This one is almost as bad (movie) as Birdemic and the show was just as good.

As my old pa use to say whenever we wet fish’n, “This one’s a keeper.”
