Two MST3k Showings This Weekend

In Oklahoma and Oakland, Calif., you can see an MST3K episode on a relatively big screen.

One showing is tonight (Thursday) in at the Muskogee Public Library, 801 W. Okmulgee Ave. starting at 6:30 p.m. The library lady won’t come out and say the episode, but from her description, it’s 1006- BOGGY CREEK II. Admission is free. More info here.

The other showing is Saturday the 31st at The New Parkway Theater, 474 24th St. in Oakland, Calif. All they’ll say is “Who knows what ghoulish episode we’ll be playing?” More info here.

Thanks to Paul for the heads up.
Thanks to “d.” for observing that the 31st is a Saturday. (Not my fault!) :)

I noticed for the film in Muskogee that he even said “Louisiana” instead of “Arkansas” in the description. Although he did use the term “river bottom”….nice. ;-)

The ticket site for the latter one says “Friday, Oct 31” — but Friday is the 30th. ?:-)

The New Parkway Theater shows a random MST3K episode on the second Friday of every month, along with trivia beforehand.
