Weekend Discussion Thread: MSTed Movie LEGOs?

UntitledOur pal Timmy alerted us to the presence of a Batman Classic TV Series LEGO set (left) featuring three MSTory people: Adam West, Burgess Meredith and Caesar Romero.

He says:

as an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego), what MST3K movie would make a good Lego set? I think “Outlaw of Gor” and “Fugitive Alien” would make some good sets.

Most depressing set? “Girl in Lovers Lane” LEGOs. But it WOULD have a Jack Elam figure!

Whaddaya think?

What about Radar Secret Service? Unlike in the movies, or unless someone actually does something with them, LEGOs basically just sit there. What better for Hypno Helio Static Stasis?

A “Day the Earth Froze” set would be great. You could have the Sampo with detachable many-colored dome, Anneki washing her Christo, the Failure, the Blacksmith, the Bullwinkle canoe, the Old Guy, that other Old Guy, the Road, the Witch and her trolls, and the Evil Cape.

Puppet Snakes, Red Horse, Frozen Goose and Dead Carp Floating In The Shallows sold separately.

The set of General Hospital. It could double for the mausoleum from Plan 9.

Lego set ideas that are already mentioned:

    -Manos
-Space Mutiny (especially the floor waxer chase)
    -Batwoman
    -Megaweapon
    -Prince of Space

One title that I don’t think that’s mentioned yet: Invasion of the Neptune Men, with that collection consisting of the titular Neptune Men, Space Chief, their spaceships, and, of course, the Hitler Building.

good luck with getting the Hitler Building made by Lego. with the exemption of a few of the ideas (see Manos) i think a lot of these ideas could be made. this is a good place to try:

Sure, Space Mutiny has been mentioned, but the best part would be Lt. Lamont. No matter how many times you took her Lego body apart, she’d come back to life.

Plus you’d get bonus characters Sting, Debbie Reynolds, and God.

And as a bonus, she comes with an armadillo down her trousers.

How about an “Angel’s Revenge” set? You get six hot women in tight jumpsuits plus one underage girl, and use them to shine your love on figures representing Alan Hale Jr, Jim Backus, Jack Palance, Peter Lawford, Pat Butram, Arthur Godfrey and Neville Brand*. Oily Pusher and Oily Pusher’s weiner sold separately.

    *Neville Brand figure not included.

Another good one: “Merlin’s Shop of Mystical Wonders”. You’d get a Lego Merlin, Lego Bob Jackass, Lego Evil Monkey Toy, and lots of little Lego pets, insects and plants to kill. As a bonus, the set would be bookended by Lego Grampa Borgnine and Lego Jaded Grandson.

Lego Zurella would require several Legos just to make her chins.

Lego Bronson’s Canyon, for Lego versions of “Robot Monster”, “Night of the Blood Beast”, and “Beast of Yucca Flats”.
