New “just the jokes” Title from RiffTrax…It has been quite a while since RiffTrax has released an mp3 audio-only, “just the jokes” riff of a major blockbuster, but one came out today–and it completes a movie series that the crew had riffed every one of up to this one.

Alright! I’ve forgotten how much I love these kinds of riffs, it’s been so long. Now if they’d only do Mad Max: Fury Road, or the latest Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and Terminator movies…

FFS, is it even possible to have a discussion on Satellite News without EricJ dropping his pants and spraying deranged butt-mud all over it? The admins are OK with letting him set the tone around here?
I don’t know about the others, but I’d say “Star Wars: TFA” is a given. I just hope they ease off on their hatred of the PT; that’s been run into the ground.

So I imagine this first in a long time blockbuster MP3 is the “official” rollout of the new auto syncing app. Will they continue to release Disembaudio versions for us legacy types.
I haven’t tried it yet so here’s my theoretical issue with the app. I have an Onkyo AV receiver that can do two individual audio outputs simultaneously. I use the main channel for the movie and the zone 2 for an ipod (classic) dock. It works for me and I can listen to both audio tracks on decent speakers. My phone is android and I currently don’t have a way to dock that to the Onkyo. So were I to depend on this new app I’d have to listen to the phone’s crappy speaker for the riffing.
Plus I just plain miss Disembaudio.
Anybody know what the plan is going forward?
I’m growing tired of some of the comments here. I’m really thinking of never reading anything at this site again. It probably won’t ever change because humans have the capacity to be jerks and to be annoying. If I stop coming to this site, I’m sure it’ll be no big loss to the caretakers or the participants. My friend made the right choice to stop coming here a couple of years ago. He’s much smarter than me. Thanks to some people for ruining yet another MST3K site. Where do I go now?

All I know is that I’m signing up for Rifftrax. If Ericj hates them this much, they must be hilarious. Somewhere, Mike Nelson is PRAYING that Eric keeps spewing his vitriol on this site.
I am SO happy that they FINALLY put the “two bits” on the “shave and a haircut” that is the HP series – now my collection is complete. Excellent job on the riffing, too. I know it pained them to do it, but I’m glad it’s done. :)
When they’re on they are up there with the classic MST episodes. The live riffing of The Room is a good start. Birdemic and Twilight are two other fine gateway episodes.
