    Are shows these being recorded?

Do the Mads stay in character? Are they Dr. F and Tv’s Frank during the riff?

Do they start a show buy pushing the button?

    ?

For once, I find out about something like this with lots of time to spare. But I found out after my monthly rent & utilities charges went up 30%. To quote Charlie Brown, AUUUUUGH!!!!

Frank & Trace, any chance you guys can do a show in the NJ area?

You guys are my two favorite cast members, Frank (if you see this). Is there a chance you would sign up to do some Rifftrax just with you and Trace? You guys were the best part of Cinematic Titanic, and I would be all over that.

Monsterzero – no, they don’t record these shows nor ever have any desire to do so (at least according to the response they posted on Facebook to my question about this).

I’ve kind of given up hope they will ever come to Florida and this old man just can’t travel that far anymore (and, frankly, I’ve gotten to the point in life where live shows I can’t re-experience just don’t hold that much interest to me. You’ll understand as you age, but there have been plenty of studies that reveal that re-experiencing things is what old people like the most and it’s also the thing that keeps their brains as active as can be. Which is why my wife and I keep re-watching all the MST3K’s we have so Life is Good).

The Mads are doing a show in Pensacola, FL on May 26th. To quote from the Facebook page: “Join us for FREE at 7pm in the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio as we talk about our journey with MST3K and riff a terrible movie to celebrate WSRE airing MST3K on Saturday nights starting April 2.” Of course, you may still be too far away, but at least they made it to Florida.

    On another thought,

Kudos for whoever is working in Rifftrax and the Mads to getting Frank and Trace for the reunion show. It’s seemed too long like a schism in “our family”. I’d love for a full-scale one, but baby steps.

I wish I was there to give them all a standing full-throated ovation for bringing them together.

OK, is it just me, or do these guys get better-looking as they get older? (fangirl)

halleluuuu-princess-leia! maybe just one station so far, but that’s a start! does that mean the new shout overlords are retrying a syndication network? super-awesome… (sorry to go off-topic a bit of mst3k, but as a rabid old SCTV fan, i hope shout can work that into their thoughts and distri packing!)

    I respectfully disagree.

Cinematic Titanic worked so well because of everyone involved, on and off the screen, from the technical aspect to the writing. Trace and Frank weren’t the “best part” of it. Your favorite perhaps, but not the best.

If there is a “best part” of Cinematic Titanic, it’s the concept/back story itself, which highlighted the synergy of the cast so that they could really kill the audience.

I have one complaint about CT. Some of us here, obviously, are DVD addicts. I don’t understand why some of the CT episodes went to “out of print” status.

I collect the physical Shout sets. It’s only natural that I want physical CT discs.

Are there rights issues that allow some CT titles to continue to be available as DVDs, but other titles had to be removed?

I got on the CT train a little late and purchased as many titles as possible.
