Well, I thought I knew a thing or two about a thing or two, but I am stymied by the b&w scene with Mike doing maybe a sort of Andy Griffith bit(?) with acoustic guitar while Tom relaxes in a flannel bathrobe and Lumberjack Crow stares hypnotically at a glass of milk.
Is that from a host segment???

The article likens the way Riiftrax audio syncs up with popular movies to the way “kids in the ’70s” linked up Dark Side of the Moon with The Wizard of Oz. I’m pretty sure that was a mid-90s discovery? I’m pretty sure Kurt Loeder passed that information along in an MTV News story.
Is there audio of this conference call somewhere? Would be nice to listen to the whole thing.
Have they said anything about the other two shows? Before the end of the Kickstarter, they said they would announce them soon and I can find neither confirmation nor cancellation…

It’s already on sale in some places. Someone from an MST3K Facebook page discovered the listing on an exhibitor’s website.
The show’s on Thursday, August 18. Won’t spoil the title, but some sleuthing should do the trick.
Ah, I found it! Googled “Rifftrax live aug 18 2016” The listing popped right up. Perhaps they will announce the fourth one as well next Tuesday.
My fingers are crossed for a Roadhouse live show this December for a true Patrick Swayze Xmas! Shout Factory do have a Roadhouse Blu-Ray coming out in September…
MKB are recording it in the fall as part of the Kickstarter, so… maybe? The only issue I have is that, like Starship Troopers and Anaconda, it’s owned by Sony. So no VOD/DVD release of the show, if it happens.
Luckily there’ll be a DVD release (I assume, and you know what happens when you assume) of the reunion.

They announced the DVD during the Kickstarter, so no need to go making things of U and Me.
Shame they couldn’t have done this on a weekend instead of a work night otherwise I would have been able to make it to Minneapolis for sure as I’m only about four hours away. Oh well, just need to try to make one of the theater showings now, don’t want to miss out on this.
I still can’t believe there are no showings of the Reunion in Montreal!! I remember seeing showings of The Room Live, Sharknado and Starship Troopers (which I attended), and maybe more, but no MST reunion this time around…
Guys, I can’t find any showings in San Antonio! I’m brand-new here so maybe I’m just missing it…? Can any San Antonios MSTies help me out?
I don’t know if anyone caught it in the press video, but Joel said they would have something for everyone at ComiCon (I think it was ComiCon) next month. Maybe a clip? That would be cool.

I feel like a real moron right now.
I figured that the Regal Commerce on Rt. 1 is never full for Rifftrax, so I should be able to get one seat tonight. And, I got there early and saw…SOLD OUT. So, I went home and logged in to get a seat for the encore. And, I saw…SOLD OUT.
So, I can either go there on July 12th, get a ticket for ID4 and sneak in (I still doubt every seat will be full) or wait until the DVD is released on watch it then. What do you think, viewers at home?
They haven’t begun filming yet, but they will be announcing their new tv home. My money is on IFC, but my dark horse is SeeSo.
Of course! It’s the ONLY explanation for having them both on screen in the episode “Kitten with a Whip”!
