Another full-length riff from the First Ladies of Riffing! Looks great. I love film noir, although this movie looks like it tries and fails, so maybe it’s film gris.

According to IMDB trivia this film was directly responsible for pencil mustaches falling out of favor in the United States.

    (That’s a lie)

Speaking of IMDb, Jay, I’m surprised this movie has such a high rating there, 6.5 last I looked. Usually MST and Rifftrax movies are more in the 2-3 range. I was surprised to see Cathy O’Donnell in this one; she was great in The Best Years of Our Lives. Not so much in Ben-Hur.

Well, it’s not like IMDB Trivia is anything resembling reliable to begin with. Or was that the joke and I missed it?

Did anyone else notice the similarities between this movie and Tormented? Not just a (younger) Robert Carlson but like Tormented, this movie is essentially a ghost story with a number of beach-side settings at night with cheesy special effects.
