The promo is hilarious! Best one yet. Only Mary Jo and Bridget could have done this one, but not because they might someday, a long time from now, become maturing women or anything.
MaryJo says the line “Karl Marx, Sex Therapist.”
This is therefore the funniest short in a long time.

I wish they’d start putting some of these out on DVDs.
Bridget and Mary Jo have done a number of great Rifftrax, but this is their best yet. They each have a cameo in this one, including a photo of Mary Jo as an awkward teen. This alone is worth the price of admission. It is a must see for all Rifftrax fans.
The short itself is pretty funny, too.
Oh my goodness gracious, this sounds just darling! I’m going to buy it just as soon as some nice young person explains the internets to me. Better get some new batteries for my hearing aid, too.

I haven’t seen this one completely, but the one they do with the movie the girls left the class to go watch in school.. LOVED that one. Can’t believe this one touches that other one.
I hope they never put these out on DVDs.

who was this film made for anyway (and where were they shown at).
also now they are called Cougars.

I’d love if Trace and Frank got a Bridget and Mary Jo style deal with Rifftrax and put out their own shorts and movies. Fingers crossed!
Amen! I will happily commit right now that if Trace and Frank sign such a deal, I will purchase every riff they put out.
Let me jump on that bandwagon — I know Frank and Trace have their own thing now, but it’s ephemeral and not available anywhere close to my neck of the woods. If they themselves write and do the riffs I will buy them all (now if they only do what the RT staff produces I’ll pass — unfortunately, the writing staff of RT is piss poor and has gone so far downhill I don’t buy anything they do).

With respect to the folks at Rifftrax now, Trace and Frank are sharp. Take their podcast Movie Sign with the Mads for example. I have only seen a few of the movies they’ve discussed on the show, yet even when I don’t know the movie they’re discussing I find the show very engaging.
Yes, that’s why if they do the writing I would definitely buy anything they do.
I think Mike, Bill and Tom are very sharp as well, but my gut tells me they do almost NONE of the writing on RT anymore (which is why it isn’t funny to me). Nothing wrong with that — I’m not their audience, and I’m sure the kids that attend the shows and buy their stuff find it amazing. I have MST3K, The Film Crew, Cinema Titanic and all the RT stuff up to a few years ago to enjoy (and am keeping my fingers crossed that my Kickstarter pledge to the reboot wasn’t wasted money). All is good.
(But adding some Trace and Frank to the mix would be even better. Sigh — I guess some folks, like me, are NEVER satisfied :>).
