They came to NC last August, and since that time, my 11 year old has become a fan. Hopefully they’ll come my way again so I can bring her along!

Are the movies they’re riffing listed anywhere?

I saw them at the Alamo Drafthouse in New York last month. They came early for a meet and greet, and signed tons of autographs. They even stuck around after the show for more of the same. They ended up riffing “Glen or Glenda,” and they did a fantastic job. The packed house was roaring with laughter!

I’m going to see them at the 4/21 show in Pittsburgh. Really excited to see them. It’s also awesome they’ll be part of the RiffTrax summer shorts show this year.

They don't announce the movies ahead of time; they like to keep it a surprise. But if they're doing two shows in the same area it's two different movies. When I saw them in New York they did Walk The Dark Street (an unwatchable cheapo film noir starring The Rifleman's Chuck Connors) on Friday in Brooklyn and Glen Or Glenda on Saturday in Yonkers.

So far yes, according to a tweet Trace sent out this past weekend. And according to the AMA Reddit they did a few weeks back, they have six films in their current riffing rotation; if they do two shows in a venue they will be different films and shorts each show. I’m seeing them both nights in Pittsburgh; I can’t wait!

To anyone who hasn’t listened, I highly recommend their Movie Sign with the Mads (and Carolina Hidalgo) podcasts. A lot of fun, different from riffing and very entertaining.

Their part in the MST Reunion Rifftrax was by far the best part of that show.

We all know Frank wanted to work blue.

I’m going to the Minneapolis shows, but has anyone else seen them before? Is the show suitable for bartcow’s 11 year old niece?

Wife and 18 yo son saw them tonight. It was “Walk the Dark Streets” and she said it would not have been right for our 10 yo. She also said it was great and they were a few seats away from the Mads, who sit in the audience with mikes, not out front like CT.

Looks like I will miss the local show (glad to see so many other MSTies in PGH!) this time, hope they come by again. I have to admit I would be more interested in seeing Trace than in a rebooted MST.

Tremendous show in Pittsburgh on Friday; they riffed “Glen or Glenda” and had the premier of the short “Office Etiquette”. Anyone know what they did on Saturday?

First show in Minneapolis last night was pretty fun. They had quite a blip with the dvd they were using to project the movie. Frank made a comment about how there was a palpable sense of relief when the screen froze and went black. It’s true. The movie was punishing, but they made it fun. They navigated the technical difficulties with aplomb.

Looking forward to the show tonight! Trace said it was his favorite bad movie- fingers crossed for Glen or Glenda

It was Glen or Glenda. That was a doozy.

Not only was the movie/riffing hilarious, we had a special treat in the Q&A. Bill, Mike, Bridget, and Mary Jo joined Frank and Trace onstage.

This may have been my favorite riffing event, ever.
