Weekend Discussion Thread: ‘It’s a little known fact…’

Alert reader Stacy suggests:

How about a game of “It’s a little known fact?” For example, it’s a little known fact that if you caught him in the right mood, the Master WOULD approve of something. Or it’s a little known fact that Rowsdower once drank a light beer.

Is this a thing? It’s a little known fact that I am old. I assume that it is a thing. Have at it!

It’s a little known fact that Gamera isn’t a friend to all children, just some children. He finds the “Neptune Men” kids annoying, and he wants nothing to do with that sadistic little creep from “Yongary”.

The movie “Troll 2” was originally going to be about a hate-filled internet troll who insists on figuratively peeing on everyone’s cornflakes. Then the producers came to their senses and made a movie that was far less obnoxious.

EricJ, “Shall I tell you something? You’re one of the most boring, tedious, uninteresting, monotonous, flatulent, flat-headed, cloth-eared, swivel-eyed, fornicating little gits I ever laid eyes on.” Cleese’s insults applies to you perfectly, except that I never laid eyes on you. During filming of “The Rebel Set”, Edward Platt used to regale his costars with stories about working with Don Adams on “Get Smart”. However, they found the stories more disturbing than funny, and they thought that Platt was losing his mind. This was probably due to the fact that “The Rebel Set” was shot six years prior to the creation of “Get Smart”.

It’s a little known fact that actor John de Lancie does not appear in “SST Death Flight”. In fact, Q, himself, appears as the jerk of a husband. The near-omnipotent being, on a whim, got himself cast in the movie to observe the odd human fascination with disaster, and with their somewhat fluid definition of “all-star cast”.

It went over big in China, but was lost on the rest of the world. No one knows what happened to his partner, Ostello, who was known for yelling “Hey Caaabooooot”
