Wow. Awesome read! However, I will say, I have personally known for YEARS that women are awesome.

Rebecca Hanson looks like a young Joan Cusack in that photo. :)

Good article. Wish she’d mentioned Barb Tebben and the info club but otherwise good.

I loved Mike as host and think he filled the role perfectly. Having said that, Bridget as host? I cannot express how much fun that would be – listen to her (And technically Mike’s) one minute long podcasts. She and MaryJo are already a riot, now put her with Tom, Crow, and Gypsy and we may have more lighting in a bottle.

I’ve always told my wife that the only woman I would leave her for would be Mary Jo Pehl. Never underestimate the power of being able to make someone laugh. The women of Mst3k are quite adept at this.

Mary Jo and Brigette are hilarious and have great chemistry together on RiffTrax.

They do indeed; they’re my favorite riffers. Bought their take on “Angels’ Revenge” because it’s so different from the guys’ — not that one is better than the other but it’s like watching two different movies. Two different but equally horrible ones!

Sounds like a filthy, exploitative B-channel PPV special from the 90’s.

It would be hard to quantify the immense benefit to the show that having Mary Jo on the writing staff brought, but if I were to attempt the task I would unhesitatingly say, “LOTS!!”.
