Season 11 Gets Saturn Award Nomination

The 44th annual Saturn Award nominations have been announced.

Among them:

Best Presentation on Television:
Channel Zero (SyFy)
Descendants 2 (Disney Channel)
Doctor Who: Twice Upon a Time (BBC America)
Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Return (Netflix)
Okja (Netflix)
The Sinner (USA)
Twin Peaks: The Return (Showtime)

The awards will be presented in June.

    At least it’s not up against “Dream On” again. I hope MST wins, but I suspect they’ll give it to Peter Capaldi’s departure.

  2. It was good, not deserving to beat Twin Peaks though. That overlong segment with Neil Patrick Harris was annoying as all get out.

    Yep, the New-Beeb-Doctor (or “Who’s Tom Baker?”) Cult has it locked up like Dream On and Larry Sanders combined.

    And William Shatner isn’t even going to sing Rocket Man at the ceremony again this time. :(

    Re: “Doctor Who”, not necessarily. Peter Capaldi and “Heaven Sent” should’ve won big, but they weren’t even nominated. They wuz robbed.

    As for this year, Mark Hamill definitely should’ve been nominated for P.T. Mindslap.
