Also…We should note the sad passing of Koko the gorilla, whom Bobo claimed to be descended from (I have to admit I had forgotten that).

Since Koko had no offspring Dr. Bobo’s claim seems unlikely unless he is descended from one of her feline adoptees. I guess he could change his name to Professor All Ball.
Addendum – All Ball was the name Koko humorously gave to her beloved tailless Manx cat.
Bobo never said he was descended from Koko the Gorilla, he said he was descended from Koko, who was *a* gorilla.
Koko met Misters Rogers once and ran up to him and scared the crap out of him, hugged him, then took his shoes off because he always did it on the show.
