I was a small child in the fifties. Very small, grant you, but I was there. Cartoons were black and white and we didn’t really like it that way, but when you are a little kid there isn’t much you can do about things except to put up with it. It looks to me like Tommy put up with a lot.
Oh SURE! The title character is male, so of COURSE Mike, Kevin, and Bill are doing the riffing.
