RIP Cokie Roberts

Veteran journalist Cokie Roberts, who joined NPR in 1978 and left an indelible imprint on the growing network with her coverage of Washington politics before later going to ABC News, died Tuesday due to complications from breast cancer.

MSTies will recall that, in a host segment in episode 604- ZOMBIE NIGHTMARE, Mike and the Bots gave Roberts a scalp massage via voodoo.

NPR has a nice obit.

As an undergraduate with little access to television (that was a good thing) Cokie Roberts and NPR were one of my main sources for national and international news. Clear, concise, un editorialized news. RIP

NPR and Cokie Roberts gave me a lot of information and entertainment over the years as an outside salesperson who spent a lot of time in the car. When I saw the sketch on Zombie Nightmare- I was touched and knew The Brains held her and NPR near and dear. RIP.
