What a waste of treats over the one in one quadrillion chance that there might be a razor blade in them.
There was a boy named Roy in my third grade class who had an extremely fluid relationship with the truth such as seldom seen outside of Mar a Lago. He claimed that he got the infamous razor blade in his Halloween candy the night before. “Did it cut your mouth?” “Naw, I just crushed down on it real hard!” What kind of candy was it in?” “A tootsie roll.” “You didn’t see it sticking out of a tootsie roll?” “Naw. I always eat my candy real fast.” I think Roy ended up either as a politician of a used car salesman.
I really wanted to like this, but couldn’t. It’s 1/4 Halloween Safety Film (which, as others already mentioned, involves throwing everything away because your mom belives urban legends), and it’s 3/4 old Universal horror films butchered beyond recognition by Castle Films. Mary Jo and Bridget can do (and have done) MUCH better.
