The MST3K connections for Martial Law are as follows. David Carradine as Dalton Rhodes was the Dark One In wizards of the Lost Kingdom 2. Rick Walters as Cramer was Mike London in Laserblast. Cinematographer John Huneck was also DP for No Retreat, No Surrender, seen in the most recent tour.

In Last Woman on Earth, our old pal Roger Corman was director and producer. Betsy Jones-Moreland as Evelyn Gern was Thyra in Viking Women. Producer Charles Hannawalt was key grip for Viking Women, Swamp Diamonds, Gunslinger, The Undead, and The Screaming Skull. Production manager and assistant director Jack Bohrer was production manager for Attack of the Giant Leeches and Night of the Blood Beast, as well as assistant director for Teenage Cave Man and Viking Women. He was also assistant director for many of Corman’s Poe adaptations.

The original poster for Last Woman on Earth is a classic. The image features the titular Last Woman, whose only garb is what appears to be a bed sheet slung over her shoulder. One end is conveniently wafting in front of her area. The other end (speaking of titular) drapes over her right breast, with a lock of her hair partially covering her left breast. Haven’t seen it yet, but I’m betting Mr. Corman failed to deliver on the promise of female nudity (much to the likely disappointment of horny late Fifties teen boys).

The Last Woman On Earth –

One woman and two men. In a realistic portrayal I suspect she would flee after the first day of incessant mansplaining.

Great work on the connections list.

+1 for “titular” in this context.

FTW which character Mike London was, he’s the lab tech who looks like Gertrude Stein.

I finally bought and watched this one. There is incessant mansplaining, but apparently Evelyn had nowhere to go, or was used to it, or both. Horribly typical Corman fare.
