In Memoriam 2019

Our annual tribute. As I was finishing this up, I noticed that I accidentally left out Tim Conway and John Llewellyn Moxey. My bad.

Once again, very tasteful. Well done. If you want to re-edit to include Tim Conway and J.L. Moxey, feel free.

As always, a classy way to say goodbye to those that made up the meat and potatoes of MST3K, the movie itself. RIP to all of them…..

One thing I noticed is most of the ones who died were in their mid 80’s to late 90’s. People are living a lot longer these days.

If you are like me, and I know I am, the end of the year brings thoughts of those in your life now gone from it. If that spirit comes to inhabit your holidays please let it be a guide to treasuring those still around for they are truly what life is all about.

Another addition: Luciano Marin, who played Hylas in Hercules And The Captive Women, passed at 87 on November 12.

IMDB says he played Illo, but thanks.

I think both of those deaths happened while I was hospitalized last spring and they never got properly attended to… oh well.

I think that’s just the way the character’s name is said in the Italian dub; it’s definitely him:

Hey, TCM didn’t mention Peter Tork this year, thought they mentioned Davy Jones when he passed. That’s just the way it goes. Thanks for the effort, anyway.
