Wow. This really makes you think…about how much drugs the “filmmakers” were on when they came up with this.

This short sounds like it would be part of an interesting triple bill with “Ghost Rider” and “Rescueman.”

I worked with a guy who spent part of his young life as the electronics (Radar) crewman on a B-52 bomber. They called them BUFFs (Big Ugly Fat, uhhh… Fellows). They did not paint smiles on them. He left the Air Force and got a degree in Electrical Engineering declaring more than once that he never wanted to smell the inside of a BUFF again. To the best of my knowledge one never followed him home from the base.

Bought this as part of the back to school sale along with some Bridget & Mary Jo shorts and was not disappointed. The dad is the star of the short.

    “The Big Yellow Fellow”

My first reaction was something to the effect of, “Big Bird? They can’t riff Sesame Street material.”

    Drugs are like THAT, too.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, Rifftrax Presents has a new title up called Werewolf in a Girls’ Dormitory.

Though not part of any MST3K film, Carl Schell (Dr. Julian Olcott) is the older brother of Maximilian Schell, who was the title character in Hamlet. John Karlsen (Old Man) was Blossom the Butler in The Christmas That Almost Wasn’t. Composer Armando Trovajoli also composed the soundtrack for Hercules and the Captive Women. Assistant director Giovanni Fage was second assistant director for The Loves of Hercules.

“Werewolf in a Girls Dormitory” was previously riffed by Incognito Cinema Warriors XP. The latter has also riffed “The Talking Car” which appeared at some Rifftrax live event or another. I think there have been other intersections of the two “shows,” too.

Along with The Film Crew, Cinematic Titanic, and of course Rifftrax, Wikipedia describes it as “related” to MST3K (in the box at the bottom of the page).

Talking Car was the opening short in the MST3K Reunion show.
