I opened up the description just to count the number of planted “This is sort of like Birdemic, so we riffed it and sold it to you” references.

I wonder if there are any animated GIFs? Birdemic kind of set the bar for that. I also wonder if there’s a disclaimer about “Contains violence towards feather pillows”?

From just watching the preview clip, it seems this movie is far above “Birdemic” in effects quality. The only real birds in Birdemic were the background birds in a few shots, clearly unaffected by the -emic.

As it happens, late last June I decided to watch MST3K at the rate of one episode a day (with a three day break due to relatives visiting on Labor Day weekend) in production number order and record my random thoughts as well as Bechdel Test results, as there have been some episodes which I had never gotten around to seeing. Most recently I watched Swamp Diamonds earlier today. The current totals are 42 Pass and 35 Fail.
A real warrior would work just the host segments.
