I am glad to see MST3K on the list. However, it seems to be heavily weighted toward animated shows. I mean, come on. DRAGON BALL Z comes in ahead of MST?? In any case, congratulations.

I don’t think this list is meant for the Old Lady demographic, but I’m happy that MST is there, and deservedly so. (It’s also nice that Fringe, Person of Interest, and Life on Mars were included.) Tomorrow I’ll celebrate by watching First Spaceship on Venus and Future War; nothing could evoke sci-fi’s rich nuances better than bouncing novelty toys and dino puppets!

I haven’t heard of that many of the shows on this list.

I do know I love MST3K and am grateful for everyone here on this board.

While it’s nice to see MST3K on this list, there is a lot there to debate. I mean, “Firefly” rates higher than TOS? “Twilight Zone” and “Outer Limits” aren’t listed at all? And I’m not sure “Daredevil” and “Spiderman” can really be considered “science fiction”; I’d place them more as “adventure”.
    Oh, well.

The rank for Firefly does appear to come from the clout of the Whedon Weenies. It’s a decent enough show. But it’s not as clever as it thinks it is and it has a weaker cast than Babylon 5 or Farscape (two shows conspicuously absent from that list). My eyes also bled reading that poorly researched entry for The Expanse.

I suppose you could classify superhero fiction as a subset of science fiction. But from what I recall of his power set, Daredevil is a bit too low key and is really more of a straight up vigilante. In such a case, I would remove One Punch Man (a premise with a single joke that gets more tired every time it gets repeated) with My Hero Academia.
