So the “too-young” couple runs from the police…who shoot at them…and the car, which is a convertible…goes over a cliff…and sort of almost flips but then lands…bone-jarringly HARD…. But the “kids are all right” [the kids are alright, the kids are alright], and the judge lectures the parents about their bad parenting. Yup, feels very Ed-Woodian, even if he’s not credited.
