RIP Ray Liotta

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC–actor Ray Liotta, best known for portraying the real-life mobster Henry Hill in the Martin Scorsese-directed film “Goodfellas,” died in his sleep here. He was 67.

The actor was in the Dominican Republic, shooting a new film.

The Associated Press has the story.

MSTies may recall that Liotta was mentioned in a host segment in episode 904- WEREWOLF.

    Wow, he was so young! And I really enjoyed his work. He always seemed like someone who would speak his mind, without necessarily being nasty about it. I loved Liotta’s reaction to the baseball announcer who complained about how his batting in Field of Dreams was the opposite of the real Shoeless Joe Jackson:

    “‘(Bleep) you! He didn’t come back from the dead either!’ Liotta recalled thinking.”
