Two MST3K Props Up at E-Bay (for pick-up ONLY!)

If you live a reasonable distance from Pinellas Park, Fla., you might be interested to learn that the SOL doors and the Deep 13 Mad Scientist Console are up for bid at E-bay. Starting price is pretty reasonable, but he WILL NOT SHIP. You have to be able to go pick the item up.

My name is Frank, and if you buy me the console you can call me anytime and say “Push the button, Frank” and I will. Just throwing that out there.

I certainly live close enough to pick up (Safety Harbor), but have neither the money to bid nor the space to store.

    Not that anybody cares.

I think the guy is definitely missing out by not shipping the thing. Aside from losing potential bidders (and bidding wars!), overcharging on s&h is one of the primary ways people make money on the eBay!

Oh yea I would bid on that if he would have offered shipping….It would have been freight and cost would be around 300-500.

he would have ton’s more bids if he would have done it that way……..some peoples kids.

  8. Well, I live in the area but have zero interest in this (despite my love for MST3K).

Let’s face it — unless you really have somewhere to display this (somewhere LARGE) what’s the point of having this? And, frankly, I can’t even think of someone with a huge home that could pull off a display of this.

    I wouldn’t take it for $50
