Reminder: Cinematic Titanic in SF this weekend

Reminder: Cinematic Titanic returns to San Francisky Friday, May 6 for two shows, 7 p.m. (“Samson and the 7 Miracles of the World” ) & 9:30 p.m. (“Rattlers” ), at The Castro Theatre, 429 Castro St., San Francisco. Tickets are $35 for one show, $60 for the double feature. General admission. Buy 7 p.m. tickets here. Buy 9:30 p.m. tickets here. Buy a combo ticket to both shows here.

    I forgot to mention this a couple weeks ago, but in case anyone finds it interesting I spotted Steve Higgins (of The Higgins Boys & Gruber, and currently Late Nite with Jimmy Fallon) at the Morristown NJ show. This marks the third pseudocelebrity I’ve attended a Cinematic Titanic show alongside, the others being proud MSTie and political lightning rod Keith Olbermann, and Daily Show regular/”PC” in the Mac TV ads John Hodgman (both at last year’s Times Square show).

    Turns out the talking heads we see on the idiot box are people, too! (With excellent taste in live performance comedy.)
