Southwest Ranches, Florida — Ricou Browning, who famously played the menacing Gill-Man in “Creature From the Black Lagoon” and as the creative force behind the original Flipper movie and TV show, died at his home here Feb. 27. He was 93.

RIP Ginger Stanley

Orlando, Fla. — Ginger Stanley Hallowell died Jan. She was 91.

She was a strong swimmer and is known for her roles in underwater scenes, including as Lori Nelson’s stunt-double in the movie in episode 801- REVENGE OF THE CREATURE.
