Steve Turczyn over in the MSTUK Yahoo Group notes that MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: THE MOVIE will be shown several times over the next month or so on the Sky Movies Sci-fi/Horror channel (channel 307) in the UK. Here’s the schedule:
Entertainment Weekly’s Web site mentions Cinematic Titanic and Rifftrax, and then asks its readers to suggest movies that need “the treatment.” Amusingly, several suggest movies that have already been done by Rifftrax.
The folks at movies.com include SANTA CLAUS on their list of 25 Great Yule Movies…That Aren’t It’s A Wonderful Life and they thank MST3K for bringing it to their attention. I’m not sure that “thank you” would be the exact words I’d use.
Thanks to Ben Cook for the info! I have no idea why MST3K was invoked in this article. MST3K is no more likely to appear on internet TV than it is on regular TV, for the same reason: movie rights.
