“Starship Dave” gets new captain

Variety is reporting that Pete Segal is out and Brian Robbins is in as director of “Starship Dave,” the sci-fi comedy feature written by Bill Corbett and Rob Greenberg. The movie, starring Eddie Murphy, is currently in preproduction. Shooting is scheduled to begin in March.
