Voice actor Dick Beals, perhaps best remembered as the voice of the Speedy Alka-Seltzer, died May 29 at a southern California nursing home, he was 85. We’re just about certain he provided the voice of Gumby in the short “Robot Rumpus,” featured in episode 912- THE SCREAMING SKULL.

HIDDEN HILLS, Calif–Joel Goldsmith, the son of famed Hollywood composer Jerry Goldsmith and perhaps best known as a musical composer for the “Stargate” franchise, died at his home here after a long battle with cancer. MSTies will remember him as the score composer for the movie in episode 706- LASERBLAST.

LOS ANGELES — Robert O. Ragland, a film composer for more than 50 films since the 1970s, died here April 18 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He was 80. MSTies will remember him as the score composer for the movie in episode 908- THE TOUCH OF SATAN.
