The fan-written riff on the Joel Schumacher’s magnum opus, “Batman & Robin” is out now. Missed the “Plan 9 From Outer Space” riff at Sketchfest in San Francisky? So did we! Now you can approximate the experience with the latest Rifftrax release.
Update: for an interesting riffing experience, watch your Rifftrax with the Legend edition of Plan 9 (you DID buy that, of course, right?) and turn Mike’s […] Mary Jo, having survived her cold, has taken up fencing. She also discusses CT.
Has it occured to anybody else that she’s the only person who has worked on Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic? To my mind that makes her the hub around which the top-tier of the riffing world turns. That’s impressive hubness (hubicity?). • Nominate the perfect movie for Rifftrax…in haiku. • The next Rifftrax title will be “Plan 9 from Outer Space,” with Mike, Kevin and Bill, based on the performance this week in Sketchfest. It’s due Jan. 22. • Coming soon, the fan-written “Batman and Robin” riff.
Sidenote: Mike already did a solo riff […] • Jay Garman at TechRepublic does an item about CT and Rifftrax.
• As does the USA TODAY blog “Pop Candy.” • And “Film Junk” does too… • And, wow! Will Wheaton does too! • DVDTalk raves about “The Oozing Skull.” |
