Just a reminder that the Cartoon Dump live comedy show, starring Frank Conniff and Erica Doering, is tonight at 8 p.m. at Comix, 353 West 14th St., in New York City. Advance tickets (which you can still get before 2 p.m.) are $12 and $15 at the door.
Max the Hero was awarded the grand prize for “Best Animation” at last weekend’s 2008 United States Super 8 Film & Digital Video Festival held at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Congratulations to Mike Salva, Bill, Kevin and Mike for the win!
We’ve noticed that Hugh at Deep Ape has noticed that jjb3k at the Discussion Board has noticed that the cover art for the upcoming release of MST3K: The Movie has popped up at Amazon. As several people have already observed, it looks like somebody easily spent a full ten minutes on it.

In a nicely intimate comedy club setting, holding approximately 150-200 people max, the show commenced a few minutes after 8, as scheduled. A screen was already down in front of the stage curtain with The Oozing Skull […] Tom Servo, Crow, Dr. F. and TV’s Frank have a cameo is the current issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (March, issue #226). Seems the issue includes a picture puzzle in which a number of favorite sci-fi characters are depicted. Check out the group at the bottom right.
