Having discussed the dark and dreary “Brute Man” this week, I thought we’d find out what you think is the drabbest, dreariest movie MST3K ever riffed.
My pick: “Radar Secret Service” — a gray movie full of identical men in identical gray suits and hats getting in and out of identical gray cars […] New addition to the Friday night schedule:
7:15-8:15 RiffTrax Live Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett RiffTrax.com, Mystery Science Theater 3000) perform a live, hilarious riff to a classic short! The panel is hosted by Veronica Belmont (host of Tekzilla on Revision3 and Qore on the PlayStation Network). Room 6DE Cinematic Titanic LIVE will be returning to The Family Arena in St. Charles (a suburb of St. Louis) on Saturday, November 21st at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now at this link.
Like the previous St. Louis appearance, I’ll be somewhere in the audience for this. If you see me, stop by […] Pop Matters reviews the upcoming Volume XV.
Scifi Wire, apparently too busy changing its name to SyFy, finally gets around to reviewing the RiffTrax DVD releases. Update: Our buddy Bruce Westbrook reviews “XV” as well. Another update: Film Threat also reviews “XV.” Mystery Science Theater 3000: XV officially goes on sale today (though folks who preordered from Amazon have been reporting getting them as early as a few days ago).
If you haven’t ordered yet, and you plan to order it through Amazon, here’s the link that we’d prefer that you use. |
