Virginia — Raymond Austin, a prolific director of episodic television, died at his home here May 17. He was 90. He began his career as a stunt man and was later known as an accomplished director and producer.
MSTies may remember that he directed two episodes of the series “The Master” that later were combined with other episodes to make TV movies. The episode “Out-of-Time-Step” was seen in episode 322- MASTER NINJA I and the episode “Hostages” was part of episode 324- MASTER NINJA II.
