Since Mike, Kevin, and Bill will be doing a live show the next night riffing Plan 9 from Outer Space, I’d love to go and make a weekend of it. San Diego just got even more beautiful.
I went to the live show of CT in Dallas in April and saw the panel before the show. All of the group were nice and gracious at the autograph session afterwards. I would love to meet Kevin, Mike, Paul, and Bill in person; I can’t imagine they would be any different from the CT cast, who were all very cool, Joel especially.

To: everyone who will be there
From: one who will not
I hate you all forever, or at least until something comparably cool happens here that I can go to and you can’t. I have run out of green crayons trying to express my envy.

this is going to be INSANE. of course, I’ll be out of town on the date!
it’ll be interesting to see what dynamics bloom between the panel. I only hope that this event is documented and posted somewhere for those of us who can attend in spirit only. I imagine it will easily be SRO. perhaps the audience response to the appearance of all of the different ‘camps’ onstage at one time will bear fruit that I, for one, am thirsting for. and hopefully, behind the scenes, bridges are mended and egos soothed for the greater good of all.
Godspeed!

I’ve corresponded with mike several times via email and he’s always seemed incredibly nice. he even allowed me to do a Q&A for a website i wrote for at the time.
