Posted by Sampo, on December 22nd, 2015  According to this blog post, longtime movie producer, sometime actor and pal of Coleman Francis, Anthony “Tony” Cardoza, died in early December as the result of a stroke. He was 85.
MSTies know he starred as Harry Rowe in the movie in episode 609- THE SKYDIVERS, as Landis in the movie in episode 619- RED ZONE CUBA and as the KGB driver in the movie in episode 621- THE BEAST OF YUCCA FLATS. He also appeared in episode 209- THE HELLCATS, and he was the producer of all four of those films, and of many others.

Frank and Trace were guests on the Real Spoilers podcast (which also aired on KXFN 1380 AM in St. Louis). He was interviewed by Tom O’Keefe, Kevin Brackett, Dan Graney and Joe Buttice. Listen to it here. (Note: some salty language.)
And Trace called in to the Radio of Horror show on WCUW 91.3 FM in Worcester, Mass. He was interviewed by Dr. Chris, Jerome, Jenny and Ryan. The interview is on youtube.
Posted by Sampo, on December 21st, 2015  NEW YORK CITY–Patricia Elliott, who won a Tony Award on her Broadway musical debut, went on to star opposite David Bowie in “The Elephant Man” and spent 23 years aboard the TV soap opera “One Life to Live,” died here Sunday of cancer. She was 77. MSTies familiar with the origins of MST3K may know that she played a nurse in the movie THE GREEN SLIME, seen in MST3K’s proof-of-concept “pilot.”
