Finally, the Starz cable channel put out this little preview of the upcoming RiffTrax Live show: Ticketmaster is offering a “two-for-the-price-of-one” sale on tickets for the Cinematic Titanic show at the University of Rhode Island Saturday. You must buy the tickets by Saturday at NOON and you must do it through Ticketmaster. You can buy them here. All tickets sold at the door will be full price.
Cinematic Titanic will do a show at the University of Rhode Island Saturday night. Nat Tingley at a student newspaper called “A Good 5 Cent Cigar” interviews Joel in advance of the show.
Monica Hesse of The Washington Post has a nice long piece about Cinematic Titanic in advance of tonight’s show in Washington D.C. Also: • Randy Schulman of Washington’s Metro Weekly also interviews Joel. • And the Washington Post’s Express Night Out’s Stephen M. Deusner also does a short interview with Joel. Our buddy Len Peralta and his “Geek a Week” project are the main focus of this CNN.com piece, but Cinematic Titanic and RiffTrax are both mentioned, as is “Silly Rhymes for Beligerent Children.” Trace is quoted and Kevin gets a mention.
