John Serba of The Grand Rapids Press reports that the next RiffTrax Live will be Thursday, Aug. 19, and the movie they will riff is the classic “Reefer Madness.”

Looking forward to the documentary about “The Beast of Yucca Flats,” that will be included on the next Shout! Factory set? You can see it before anybody else if you happen to be in the Pittsburgh area next weekend.
The documentary “No Dialogue Necessary: Making The Beast of Yucca Flats” will have its world premiere at this year’s Monster Bash convention in Butler, Pa. (north of Pittsburgh). There will be two screenings. The first will be on Friday, June 25, at noon. The filmmaker, Daniel Griffith, will also show some of his other films at that time, including the “Santa Claus” documentary that was on the last Shout! Factory set and a ‘sneak preview’ of his larger documentary on K. Gordon Murray. We are told George ‘The Animal’ Steele, who played Tor Johnson in Tim Burton’s “Ed Wood,” will be in attendance. Trace read the story “Yum Yum Doyle” from his upcoming book “Silly Rhymes for Belligerent Children” at the recent wOOtstock in Minneapolis, and our buddy Len Peralta was there to capture it.
