 LOS ANGELES — Actress Abby Dalton, who became a very familiar presence in ’60s TV households, died here Nov. 23 after a long illness.
She was an avid game-show panelist and appeared on a slew of TV’s more popular programs. MSTies will remember her as the brave Desir in the movie in episode 317- VIKING WOMEN AND THE SEA SERPENT.

Whew! See you there!  Game show legend Alex Trebek, the beloved “Jeopardy!” host who showed dignity and perseverance in dealing with a stage-4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis, died at his home Nov. 8. He was 80.
MSTies may remember he was mentioned in a host segment in episode 1202- ATLANTIC RIM. Trebek was synonymous with longtime top-rated “Jeopardy!,” the brainiest of TV quiz shows, which he hosted since its syndicated revival premiered in 1984 (Art Fleming hosted an earlier NBC version from 1964 to 1975.). Will Ferrell’s “Saturday Night Live” impersonation both underlined and burnished Trebek’s exalted cultural status. |
