An open thread for reactions to tonight’s riff of “Giant Spider Invasion.” Size of the audience in your theater? Any technical problems? Favorite riff? Favorite riff?

I think the fight scene between Eddie Crane and Daddy-O would be amazing. What’s your pick? Keep those WDT suggestions coming!  Toni Morrison, the Nobel laureate in literature whose best-selling work explored black identity in America — and in particular the often crushing experience of black women — through luminous, incantatory prose resembling that of no other writer in English, died on Aug. 8 at a hospital in the Bronx. She was 88.
MSTies will recall another fan of Morrison’s, Jack Perkins, mentioned her in a host segment in episode 310- FUGITIVE ALIEN.  FRANCE–Henri Belolo, co-creator of Village People, died on Saturday, Aug. 3. He was 82.The French music producer helped shape disco music, penning hits that were featured in several films, Broadway, commercials, and more. Of course, their monster hits “Y.M.C.A.,” “Macho Man” and “In The Navy” are also still played at every wedding, party, and bar and bat mitzvah today. Longtime MSTies will recall that another place “Y.M.C.A.” was played was in a host segment in episode K12- FUGITIVE ALIEN, and it got Joel and the bots dancing. Alert reader Timmy writes:
