There is campaign to get both a Tom Servo & a Crow puppet inducted into the Atlanta, Georgia-based Center for Puppetry Arts museum.
The campaign ends Friday, Jan. 11, with a goal of $10,000. Contributions are tax deductible to an extent, and are being matched. At this writing they have about $1,000 to go.
A special Gold Tom Servo signed by the MST3K cast is being auctioned by The Center for Puppetry Arts as well.
On January 20th, Joel will be in Atlanta at the Center for the MST3K Puppet unveiling. He will also do a powerpoint about his lifelong obsession with ventriloquist dummies and their impact on MST3K. Get tickets for that here.

The only information they had was that Joel got it off a used toy car. Now, thanks to sledge_riprock over at the Bot Builders Info forum, it looks like the source has finally been found. During “Beast of Hollow Mountain,” Tom and Crow discussed the sort of monster movies they’d like to make. I’d like to pose the same question to you folks. I think I’ll take the same tack as Crow and go for a comedy. I give you: “Gamera House,” a tale of a fraternity of misfit kaiju at Chiba University, who constantly flout the authority of Dean Cornjob. We’re currently in negotiations with Toho to get them to lend us Jet Jaguar for the Stephen Furst role.

Kevin, Bill, Mary Jo, Bridget, Trace and Frank will join forces with Cole Stratton, Janet Varney, John Hodgman and Paul F. Tompkins for “RiffTrax: Day of the Shorts” on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 4 p.m. at the Castro Theater in San Francisco as part of the huge Sketchfest 2019 event.
Frank and Trace will also do a “The Mads Are Back” show on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 10:30 p.m.
Bill, Kevin, Conor Lastowka, Tompkins and “Weird Al” Yankovic join forces for “Audible Presents: The Pole Vault Championship of the Entire Universe,” on Sunday at 1 p.m.
